{what to expect}
{WHAT TO WEAR} Your sessions are all about you so wear something you are comfortable in and that shows your style! Pick outfits with colors that compliment each other & try to stay away from matching exactly! Combine colors and patterns! Don't be afraid to layer! Layers and textures look awesome in portraits! Try to avoid clothing with big logos!
{LOCATIONS} I do all my sessions outdoor on location in natural light! Sessions can be done a number of places from your backyard to the square downtown! The possibilities are endless! If you don't have a particular location in mind we can discuss the look or style of the portraits you are wanting and I can help come up with the perfect place!
{PROPS} Props are a great way to spice up your portraits! They also help make your images unique and express who you and your family are! If you don't have any special props in mind, I will bring some of my own! I do have a wide variety of props from baskets, stools, chairs, numbers, chalkboards, etc.
{YOUNG CHILDREN} It is important to prepare you children for what is going to happen! I want it to be a fun, enjoyable experience for everyone! It is also a great idea to bring small snacks or something to drink just in case they need a little break to refuel! Don't be afraid to bribe! Bribery works well with the younger children and even sometimes with the husbands too!
{POSES} Please let me know if there are any poses that are "must-haves" in mind! We will normally start with all the group shots first and then move on to the individuals starting with the youngest first! I love searching for poses on pinterest and google!!
{SNEAK PEEK} I will post peeks from your session via facebook or my blog within 7 days of session if given permission!
{YOUR IMAGES} Your images will be uploaded to my website within 7-14 business days from your session where you can download them or order professional prints. I will email your password once your gallery is uploaded.
{PRINTING} I do provide the option to order high quality, professional grade prints and gifts at a discounted price on my website! I use a sRGB color scale when editing and procession your image files! Most local photo printers do not have the professional quality that I recommend! Your images will possibly turn out with a different color tint and crop of the image may be incorrect!
{policies}
{PAYMENT} A non-refundable deposit of $75.00 is required to reserve a date & time!
{RE-SCHEDULING} A 48 hour notice is required for re-scheduling a session to transfer deposit to another date! If we have to reschedule session due to weather conditions, illness or emergencies deposit will be transferred to the new date.
{CONTRACT} Signed contract is required for all sessions!
{SESSION} Sessions are normally done on Saturdays and some Sundays! On some occasions weekday evenings are available! Please be on time and ready for session to begin upon arrival! Your session will start at the time scheduled! All session will take place outdoors!
{DIGITAL FILES} With each session you receive digital high resolution files of your completed session! All images that you would like to be on social media site must have my logo or credit must be given to Jenny Melton Photography! Images that I upload may be shared but not altered, cropped or edited in anyway!
